In the eyes of a child, what he/she sees is what he/she gets.
Motherhood is the noblest activity in a woman's life. Hence, only a mother can truly care for a child from pregnancy, to giving birth, to giving the best education, to giving him/her away in marriage, to look after her grandchildren and so on and so forth until her twilight age comes and even up to her last breath. this is a real scenario in our country because we Filipinos have a great bond-family ties.
Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flashman, Incredible Hulk, Captain Barbel and many more are the superheroes in the world of fantasy that a child may idolize during his/her pre-school age.
But as a chlid grows-up, the way he/she is being nurtured by his/her parents, come out of him/her in dealing with other people in his/her daily life outside their house. The behaviour of a child solely depends on the upbringing of her parents, secondarily, the way the teachers treat him/her in school.
Molding a child is a joint effort by the parents and the teachers. And with this, a child's mind collects different ideas and behaviours and with proper guidance, the child will become a good citizen.
So it's not Wonder Woman or Superman that takes the number one post in a child's list of superheroes when he/she is already in his/her teens.
My teacher, my hero, second to none is my one and only mother, who talks to us heart to heart on sensitive matters. So as a child, what I see is what I get. I salute all my teachers!

My Life, My Saviour, My Hero!
In the movies, most of the TV shows have the protagonist and antagonist that makes the movie better and interesting. Without those roles, we may not be able to enjoy the show. But there are some movies which contains protagonist only, and some protagonist are hero. In real life, there's also hero. So, who is your hero?
God's masterpiece in creating stuffs is human. It's like my mother and father, I can barely say that we are (together with my siblings) their obra maestra. Our parents are our guardians, they are the one who take good care and take responsibility of us. As a daughter, I consider them as "my hero" because everytime I need them, they are always there to guide me, support me, and rule me especially when I'm sick, With the touch of their hands, I can really feel that they love me so much. They are the reason why I am striving hard in my studies, they are also my inspiration.
I will do my very best to be one of the top ten of the school, I'll be a good daughter to them.

SONA of PNOY
The State of the Nation Address or SONA is an annual event in the Republic of the Philippines in which the President reports on the status of the nation, normally to he resumption of a joint session of the congress. The first SONA of Pres. Benigno Simeon "Noynoy" C. Aquino, the fifteenth president of the Philippines , happened in the 26th of July 2010 at the Session Hall, Batasang Pambansa Complex, Quezon Cityand the second one happened in the 25th of July 2011 at the same place.
Some of what PNOY talked about are: wang-wang, over-importing rice and PhilHealth. The first topic of PNOY was the wang-wang. This wang-wang case begun last year and this gesture has become the symbol of change, not just in our streets but even in our collective attitude. But some are hard-headed and instead of behaving like public servants, they acted like kings. They have no right to do this. The next topic was over-importing rice. There are still people who are being left behind. What do we do with them?First we identified the poorest of the poor and invested them because people are our greatest resource. And the other topic was PhilHealth . With a compliance rate of 92% millions of mothers are already getting check-ups at public centers, millions of babies are being vaccinated against common diseases and millions of school-aged children are now attending classes.
We have fought against the wang-wang and our efforts have yielded results. We are giving those poor families a chance to improve their lives, because their progress will be the country's progress. 5.2 million Filipino families who benefit PhilHealth are those who really need it. We do hope, that all of these things and our efforts would result. and unity of Filipino citizens is a must.

Isulong ang Breastfeeding-Tama,Sapat at Eksklusibo
"Nutrition Month Celebration," this we celebrate every year, month of July. With the word "nutrition," it reminds us to take good care of our body and mind, to be strong and to be healthy. This month of celebration, our theme for this year is "Isulong ang Breastfeeding-Tama,Sapat at Eksklusibo."So what is this all about?
Babies are not animals, so you must not breastfeed them too much commercial milk because it has also chemical content that can make the baby sick. All the nutrients that mother take, can also take the baby.
We all know that breastfeeding is the best way to feed young babies, this is more nutritious than of those commercial milks that came from animals. With the help of vegetables and fruits that mothers eat, they can feed their babies well and aside from feeding, they can also be healthy and at the same time, they are taking good care of their body. This time, most are buying commercial milk that is not nutritious for babies. So let us impliment breastfeeding, right, enough, and exclusive. For the better future of the babies, mother should eat nutritious foods like green vegetables and fresh fruit to avoid diseases. to have healthy body and mind.

Lack Of Discipline
June 08,2011
Gomez St.,Barangay VII
Vigan City,Ilocos Sur
President Benigno Simeon C. Aquino
His Excellency, The President
MalacaƱang Palace,Manila
Dear Mr. President,
Sir, as you read this letter of mine, would like to greet you first a pleasant day!I know this maybe a little bit hard for you, but before all, I would like to introduce myself to you, I'm Lorena Dawn Abella, a fourth year student from Ilocos Sur National High School. I would like to have a disciplined environment from our school.
As we started the class last June 6, I can say that many things were improved in our school like the buildings (from the Values Bldg. and New Values Bldg. and Research Room), parks and many more. But the problem is how can some students learn if at the very first day of school, I can see students who were holding a stick of cigarette and smoking during lunch time outside the campus? This is the problem that I am talking about. Since I was in first year, my first impression about some of those students is they have bad fraternity that can lead them to a bad life. But then as months passed by, our principal already solved these problems and I'm glad about that. But how about those teenagers who sniff that stinky stick of cigarette that can cause their death? I already heard the news about the stoppage of cigarette in Manila. But what if you can warn all the citizens of Philippines to do so? I know there are also stubborn people and they are hard to discipline.
I hope so Sir that you can manage about this problem.
Respectfully yours,
Lorena Dawn Abella
